I'M LAUREN. THE MAKER BEHIND THIS ONE WOMAN BRAND.

Growing up I didn't dress like a "toy-maker" for career day, and no I am still not sure what that would have looked like. But I have been sewing and making things my entire living memory. I still remember the first doll outfit I ever created; a sleeveless gray knit jumper with red and yellow animal buttons for my America Girl doll. The fit was tight and I remember the straps being uneven, but I had made it. On my own, no pattern, I had done it - I was so proud.

Most days you can find me sewing and drafting new patterns or parked on the sofa watching Pride & Prejudice (1995 BBC Mini-Series) on repeat while shopping for more fabric. My name is Lauren and I am a fabric hoarder.

I hope the things I create inspire you to share your one-of-a-kind personality with the world. Every handmade doll is a thoughtfully-designed heirloom, with the intention to deliver joy, a dose of nostalgia, and an appreciation for the little things.
